Who We Are:

We are a group of outdoor enthusiasts based in Cape Town. We love being in the mountains – climbing, trail running, mountain biking, trekking – that’s our happy place. So we understand the need for great gear – especially great footwear. We are the exclusive South African importer & distributor of the following awesome brands :

Traverse Outdoor Gear was born from the desire to bring the best outdoor footwear to the South African consumer. We believe that choice is often vital in finding the right fit and there’s no substitute for quality. Footwear should not limit our journey or compromise our outdoor exploits. In Scarpa and Boreal, we feel that we have added to the market two significant players who both build footwear to the highest standards. We are proud to be able to bring these brands to our shores.
